Sein Hauptzweck ist es, die Nährstoffaufnahme zu verbessern und als Bodenverbesserer zu wirken. Außerdem eignet es sich sehr gut zur Vorbeugung und Behandlung von Pilz- und Bakterienkrankheiten und kann sehr effektiv zur Bewurzelung von Stecklingen, zur Keimung von Samen sowie als Blattspray (für Mutterpflanzen) eingesetzt werden, um das seitliche Wachstum der Pflanzen zu stimulieren.
